The Fueling Creativity in Education Podcast began with a format of 10 interviews and two debriefs each season, and has since expanded to 12 episodes, including four debriefs and a special feature connecting insights to emerging scholarly research. Each season typically introduces something new to the show—whether it’s a fresh format, new voices, or a theme relevant to teaching creativity and creative teaching. Through this evolution, co-hosts Matthew Worwood and Cyndi Burnett remain committed to bridging creativity research with classroom practice.

Season 12
Season 12 of the Fueling Creativity in Education Podcast celebrates five years of podcasting and 250 published episodes, while taking a closer look at where creativity faces its greatest challenges: inside educational systems, under real-world pressures, and through the everyday choices of educators and learners. This season highlights new and timely perspectives on Teaching Creativity, including Daniel Memmert on how athletes make creative decisions under constraints and pressure, Carlos Moreno of Big Picture Learning on student agency and scalable public education models, Maciej Karwowski on creative self-belief, identity, and motivation, and Caroline Mehl from the Constructive Dialogue Institute on how meaningful dialogue nurtures empathy and creative learning.
With these conversations, Season 12 continues to explore how creativity can be nurtured, sustained, and expanded in real-world contexts, offering educators, students, and communities actionable insights to strengthen Creativity in Education where it matters most.
