Season One
Season One of the Fueling Creativity in Education Podcast marked the very beginning of our journey—and much of the story unfolded behind the scenes. From troubleshooting poor audio quality and recording in a wardrobe to re-recording questions and experimenting with episode length, this season was all about discovery. It was here that we refined our preferred format and began shaping the show into what it is today.
At the same time, Season One welcomed an incredible lineup of guests who helped us explore the most essential questions: What exactly is creativity, and what is its relationship to the classroom? Highlights included conversations with Ron Beghetto, Susan Keller-Mathers, and Vlad Glăveanu, each offering unique perspectives on the science and practice of creativity. We also spoke with Bryan Alexander, marking one of our earliest explorations into how emerging technologies—especially AI—might reshape creativity, nearly two years before OpenAI released ChatGPT to the world.
